The NEST

This spring studio hosted a hand-made human sized nest, made out of natural materials. Weaved lovingly by Nika, the owner of the studio, with the help of her friend Shannon, it was bigger thanh life. The leaves came from a 150 year old oak tree that stands close to the studio. All other materials were ethically outsourced.

To make a nest like this was Nika's (strange, and we admit it) dream coming true. She envisioned it for her personal photography series. And now that the series have been shot, the nest has been dismantled, making room for the new installations to come this summer.

Photography has been an integral part of my life for over 15 years. Through it, I have unraveled the threads of profound healing amidst the darkest of times, and with boundless joy, I have shared the radiance of life's brightest days. With an international exhibition history counting 30 shows and over 10 directed films, I approach each shot with a cinematic eye, weaving narratives that unfold with every click of the shutter. My background in social psychology helps me to connect with clients on a profound level, understanding the intricate nuances of their emotions and guiding them towards self-expression.
